### Distinguished Contributors
SimPEG Distinguished Contributors are a group of SimPEG community members who have gone above and beyond in their support of the project over the years, making substantial and sustained contributions in any area of activity (software development, documentation, community engagement, events, etc.). The SimPEG community confers membership in this group as a way of recognizing and celebrating their efforts as well as thanking these community members for their contributions.

The SimPEG distinguished contributors can be viewed here: TODO

Nominations to the SimPEG distinguished contributors can be made at any time. For the inaugural year, nominations are submitted to the project Founders by email ([email protected]; subject: SimPEG Distinguished Contributor Nomination). Nominations should include a brief description of the contributions of the nominee and a citation that will be included in the SimPEG distinguished contributors page to celebrate their contributions.

### Community Discussion Channels

Conversation and consensus building are an important part of SimPEG governance, and thus here, we specify the main communication channels used by The Project.
