NOTE TO REVIEWER
I mistakenly used a branch I was using to develop #982 . For the sake of simplicity I left both changes in this PR as the changes regarding #982 are harmless. You can safely disregard the changes in BUILD files as well as the new files in the new package
Processor(and the corresponding test).
