I really wanted to try the new blur PR but I found it was impossible for me to configure any blur setting and keep my extensive
programs.niri.settings. This is because there is nothing in settings.nix to include any blur options. At first I thought just modifying settings.nix to support blur would be good, but I know it's going to get added eventually. So I figured it would be not only useful now, but also later, to have a string option that appends after the kdl check. I might want to test out another niri PR or a custom version of niri, so I can add the extra settings there so it's isolated from my stable options, making it easier to troubleshoot.
