overlay-container
is a lightweight Swift library for managing overlays and bottom sheets in iOS applications. It provides a flexible and customizable way to present draggable, resizable, and interactive overlays, making it easy to implement bottom sheets, modals, and other layered UI components.
import OverlayContainer
func presentSheet(_ viewController: UIViewController) {
let sheetViewController = OverlayContainer(
contentContainer: viewController,
configuration: .init(
cornerRadius: 16,
insets: .zero,
grabberType: .hidden
)
)
present(sheetViewController, animated: true)
}
- iOS 12.0+
- Xcode 16.0
- Swift 5.7
The Swift Package Manager is a tool for automating the distribution of Swift code and is integrated into the swift
compiler. It is in early development, but overlay-container
does support its use on supported platforms.
Once you have your Swift package set up, adding overlay-container
as a dependency is as easy as adding it to the dependencies
value of your Package.swift
.
dependencies: [
.package(url: "https://github.com/space-code/overlay-container.git", .upToNextMajor(from: "1.0.0"))
]
