Open Cloudformation on AWS

Create Stack

Upload the YAML

Give name to stack like project name and S3 Bucket Name in the parameters

Click next on pages and complete creation of Stack.

You can now see the role create in Roles.

Go to ec2 and assign the created role to EC2 Instance. Right click on instance and you can see Instance Settings. In that select Attach IAM Role and assign the role.

Done.
