That is not what the parameter is actually doing.

So the parameter is only affective for RHEL 9 + 10 hosts. Before it was there, RHEL 9 + 10 hosts were automatically provisioned using the kickstart_rhsm. With the new parameter 'use-redhat-register-snippet' , you can use the redhat_register snippet for RHEL 9 + 10 hosts, if it is set to true.
