MySQL 8.4 incompatibility (SHOW MASTER STATUS)

Summary
tap-mysql is not compatible with MySQL 8.4 due to deprecated syntax.

Steps to Reproduce
Use MySQL 8.4
Run tap-mysql (transferwise)

Actual
Fails with: error near 'MASTER STATUS'

Expected
Should support MySQL 8.4.

Cause
Uses deprecated:
SHOW MASTER STATUS;

Impact
Pipeline fails on MySQL 8.4.

As a workaround, we replace it with:
SHOW BINARY LOG STATUS;

Additional Note
We would be happy to raise a PR with a proposed fix if aligned with the maintainers.

hi everyone! i completely agree that this compatibility gap with mysql 8.4 needs to be resolved. however, simply replacing the command will break compatibility for users still running mysql 8.0 or older, since show binary log status isn't supported there. the robust fix would be to query the mysql server version string first, then conditionally run show master status or show binary log status depending on the version. since no pr has been linked yet, could a maintainer please assign this issue to me? i would love to implement this version-conditional logic and submit a pull request.
