Raster Time Series publication

For the Swiss Data Cube, we are using GeoServer for the publication of raster time-series. There is a dedicated tutorial explaining in detail how to use the ImageMosaic plugin: http://docs.geoserver.org/latest/en/user/tutorials/imagemosaic_timeseries/imagemosaic_timeseries.html and how to enable the time dimension in GeoServer.

Alternatively, we can use THREDDS (https://www.unidata.ucar.edu/software/thredds/current/tds/) that allows to publish netcdf files and supports WMS with time dimension.
