Deterministic & Governance Verified (DGV) Test Cards Registry

This folder contains the official schema and test card definitions for the DGV compliance framework. It maps verification assertions to the SVRNOS 7-Layer Model and the Governance Error Register (GER) taxonomy.

Current standard: v0.6.0 — 42 test cards (Claims 1 – 42)

Directory Structure

  • test_cards/: The active master test deck containing the latest 42 DGV test cards.
  • evidence/: Generated evidence packages for all 42 test cards, each with a SHA-256 settlement receipt.
  • versions/: Historical and evolution registries of the test cards deck:
    • v0.2.0/: Inception standard (Claims 1 to 10).
    • v0.3.0/: Expanded compliance standard (Claims 1 to 15).
    • v0.4.0/: Extended standard (Claims 1 to 23).
    • v0.5.0/: Extended standard (Claims 1 to 35). Adds RAG corpus digest, HITL bypass, PHI boundary, post-quantum key, and ZKP audit export.
    • v0.6.0/: Current standard (Claims 1 to 42). Upgrades TC-034–035 to real lattice crypto + Groth16. Adds ML-KEM-768 (TC-041) and SHAKE-256 (TC-042). Introduces only-gate real verification engine.
  • testcards.schema.json: The JSON Schema used to validate the structure of DGV test cards.
  • dgv_runner.py: The Python verification harness executing simulations and producing evidence packets.
  • regenerate_evidence.py: Regenerates all 42 evidence packages and settlement receipts without requiring the boot-sim binary.
  • verify_receipt.py: Verifies the SHA-256 settlement receipt in any evidence package.
  • RECEIPT_VERIFICATION.md: Normative procedure for independently verifying evidence receipts.

Consuming Test Cards in Code

Developers can consume these JSON definitions directly in their test runners.

Rust SDK Integration

// Ingest JSON card definition for local verification
let card_json = std::fs::read_to_string("test_cards/dgv_tc_001_deterministic_execution.json")?;
let card: serde_json::Value = serde_json::from_str(&card_json)?;

Python SDK Integration

import json

with open("test_cards/dgv_tc_001_deterministic_execution.json", "r") as f:
    card = json.load(f)

Running the Test Suite

# Clone this repository
git clone https://github.com/vdmo/only-dgv-tc.git
cd only-dgv-tc

# Regenerate all 42 evidence packages (no binary required)
python3 regenerate_evidence.py

# Verify all settlement receipts
python3 verify_receipt.py --all

# Run the full interactive harness
python3 dgv_runner.py

Schema Requirements

Every test card must strictly conform to the testcards.schema.json specification:

  1. id: Unique string formatted as DGV-TC-[0-9]{3}.
  2. svrnos_layer: Mapped to layers L1 through L7.
  3. ger_mapping: Registered failure mode error code mapping (e.g. GER-328).
  4. version: Version string corresponding to the registry folder (e.g. "0.4.0").
