Hey @veit , great tutorial!
I've updated the Jupyter sql guide.
Jupysql is a package to keep the ipython-sql alive and support the community.
It's based on ipython-sql but is still maintained, so all bug/feature requests are getting pull requests.

Hi @idomic, thank you for your pointer to Jupysql. And sorry for my late reply, And please excuse my late reply, but I only got around to thinking about your pull request today.
I have the impression that @catherinedevlin is continuing the development of ipython-sql, albeit slowly. Also, she seems to develop ipython-sql further so that it becomes compatible with SQLAlchemy 2, see Not compatible with SQLAlchemy 2.
I also find it irritating that I can hardly see your support for the existing ipython-sql project. And finally, Jupysql does not seem to be supported by a broad community so far, but by Ploomber employees. So I will continue to look at the further development of the two projects before I make another recommendation here in the Jupyter tutorial. I hope for your understanding for this decision.

Hey @veit,
I get your original note and where you are coming from. We'll definitely keep helping and supporting the community, otherwise, we wouldn't pick the OSS route :)

Just adding the official note here.
Also, if there's anything we can do to improve your experience with the tool or within the notebook experience feel free to open an issue or DM me! 👍
