Nova Performance – Week 4

A responsive landing page created for the Frontend Performance Optimization Challenge.

Optimization work

• Used a small, dependency-free HTML/CSS/JavaScript structure.
• Minified CSS and JavaScript files are used by the production HTML.
• JavaScript is loaded with defer.
• Preloaded the main stylesheet.
• Kept the DOM structure simple.
• Avoided unnecessary external libraries and frameworks.
• Added responsive CSS and reduced-motion support.
• The project is ready for Lighthouse/PageSpeed testing.

Testing

Run Google Lighthouse in Chrome DevTools before and after optimization. Record the actual scores and metrics in the internship report. No performance score is hard-coded into this project.
