The PR’s observingCapabilities name is kept for now, but its contents align with the ObservationSeries concept from wmdr2-devt. The substantive change is to replace deployments[0..1] with observingConfigurations[0..n]. This retains the PR direction while supporting richer and time-varying observation metadata. wmdr2-bundled.json is regenerated from the modular YAML schema.

ObservationSeries is semantically stronger for the description of actual observations. This name change is not critical for this PR. The substantive change is to replace deployments[0..1] with observingConfigurations[0..n]. This retains the PR direction while supporting richer and time-varying observation metadata. It also supports the instrument-related concepts better.
wmdr2-bundled.json is regenerated from the modular YAML schema.
