meetups

We organize contributions around quarterly springs in Autumn, Winter, Spring, and Summer. The goal of each sprint is to:

• Connect the community, so everyone can build a network of peer support
• Set quarterly goals for design, development, and more

Note

Our Winter 2026 meetup time and location is Wednesdays 5:30-6:50pm on the University of Washington, Seattle campus in Mary Gates 241. Our first day is January 7th, 2026 our last is March 18th, 2026.

See Discord #announcements for day-of updates. If you cannot make it to the Seattle campus, you can also join on Zoom. In-person is preferred if you're in Puget Sound, as its much easier to collaborate, but we're always excited to welcome remote contributors to the meetup.

Attendance is not mandatory to be a contributor. You're welcome to contribute asynchronously and remotely or organize your own local meetups. But we do find that collaborating with people synchronously is the best way to learn.
