What I actually do — I design the layer that makes the hard part disappear. On a stalled government system I built a front-end architecture that reduced the job to "read the spec, fill it in, test it," which let back-end engineers who had never written front-end code ship features. The project entered UAT six months later. I now do the same thing with AI agents: the leverage isn't the prompt, it's the spec that was written before it.
