This skill for Claude Code teaches Claude to create Max/MSP patchers or Max for Live devices using the library MaxPyLang by Barnard PL Labs.
It was inspired by a video on YouTube that demonstrates use of MaxPyLang and Claude Code, without actually explaining how to link MaxPyLang to Claude Code.
The skill was “one-shotted” by Claude Opus 4.6 and comes with no warranty or support whatsoever — use at your own risk!
The files stereo_delay.py and stereo_delay.amxd are a first attempt at using the skill. The Max for Live device works but needs some polishing. The prompt used was: “create a stereo delay audio effect for Ableton”
