The linked Gist (https://gist.github.com/zavan/f4d34dd86bf825db549a0ac28c7e10d5) wasn't working for me. It turns out that it needs
session.add_cookie_to_headersto work.I'm not sure how to test this, since the test app uses Devise, which means it will stop looking before it finds the Clearance auth helper.
