looks like you changed your Wiki page title and the link is broken, I believe it is now https://github.com/OCA/OpenUpgrade/wiki/Crude-script-to-create-the-full-analysis-between-two-versions-of-Odoo

@rvalyi It's https://github.com/OCA/OpenUpgrade/wiki/Set-up-the-branch-for-a-new-Odoo-release, but yes, thanks!

@StefanRijnhart StefanRijnhart force-pushed the mig/16.0/infra branch 4 times, most recently from a661c0a to 7d82aab Compare October 5, 2022 22:46

One of the best things of the 14.0+ branches was that they are clean. With this technique, we will start to accumulate useless diffs: ones adding the scripts and a big one removing them, leading to be in a huge branch in a couple of versions. So I beg you if it's possible for you to simply fetch the commits / files excluding scripts. git filter-branch may help. If you want me to try it, let me know.

@pedrobaeza too late. The problem is that 16.0 branch has been created as a copy of 15.0. Only by forcepushing a new 16.0 can adapt it to the way you want :(

Yes, but that can be undone. Branches can be deleted and pushed again.

Thank you! Let me know if you want me to do something, or we can do it at OCA days. Are you coming?
