Clarify phrasing re: nested/child Git repositories and checkpointing

Some clarification about Git repositories below the workspace level preventing checkpointing from functioning.

In particular, eliminating the term "nesting", which can create confusion since it implies that the problem stems from with Git repositories inside Git repositories, rather than Git repositories inside the workspace root (which may not be a Git repository itself.)
