Notes

  • Requires SekiroTSR mod to get DLSS inputs which are required for OptiScaler to work (tested with 1.1.0 version)

  • METHOD 1 - loading ReShade through OptiScaler

  • Can be used if Method 2 crashes, on e.g. non-steam versions.

    1. Extract SekiroTSR mod files into the root game folder (where sekiro.exe is located)

    2. Install ReShade 6.3.3 or newer with addon support, which is required by the mod.

    3. Rename ReShade’s dxgi.dll to ReShade64.dll

    4. Install OptiScaler as dxgi.dll or just rename OptiScaler.dll to dxgi.dll

    5. Set LoadReshade=true in OptiScaler.ini

    6. Boot the game, press Home and enable DLAA/DLSS through the mod’s overlay

    7. Use wanted upscaler through Opti’s Overlay

  • Folder screenshot

  • METHOD 2 - using Ultimate ASI Loader

    1. Extract SekiroTSR mod files into the root game folder (where sekiro.exe is located)

    2. Install ReShade 6.3.3 or newer with addon support, which is required by the mod.

    3. Rename ReShade’s dxgi.dll to ReShade.asi

    4. Install OptiScaler as OptiScaler.asi or just rename OptiScaler.dll

    5. Download Ultimate ASI Loader x64 and extract it to game folder, leave as default dinput8.dll

    6. Boot the game, press Home and enable DLAA/DLSS through the mod’s overlay

    7. Use wanted upscaler through Opti’s Overlay

      • Might require setting DontCreateD3D12DeviceForLuma=true in OptiScaler.ini if crashing

  • Folder screenshot, Game screenshot 1, Game screenshot 2

  • If you intend on using Sekiro Mod Engine, rename the Ultimate ASI Loader from dinput8.dll to winmm.dll!

  • For FPS Unlocker mod, use SekiroFpsUnlockDll - either as d3d11.dll or dinput8.dll, depending on used method from above

    • Readme and usage - link

    • Worked something like this - boot game with the mod, switch from Fullscreen to Windowed, set <cbBorderless>true</cbBorderless> in SekiroFpsUnlockAndMore.xml, boot the game again and hopefully working, although might require repeating the steps again (game likes kicking into Fullscreen)

    • For AMD, might require enabling Enhanced Sync in Adrenaline Sekiro profile too
