Questions
1. Do you prefer the term "community" or "group"?
- The word "community" is preferred.
2. Does the user have to follow a community before posting content in that community?
- True, but "joining" is preferred rather than "following".
3. Can the community creator prevent community members from posting content? (This means only the creator and the moderators can post.)
- Community creator and moderators are able to warn or ban community members. Beyond that every community member can post.
4. Should the users be able to send private messages to each other?
- Yes, users shall be able to send private messages.
5. Should the community members be able to start voting to ban/mute other community members?
- No, this will be reviewed on later versions.
6. Do you have an aimed number of users to service simultaneously?
- A default value will be determined by project group members.
7. Do you have an expectation about the types of browsers that the application is compatible with?
- (This question will be answered later.)
8. Should the system automatically remove a post if it gets a predefined number of reports?
- For now, only community creators and moderators will be able to remove posts. This will be reviewed on later versions.
9. To avoid inappropriate content, should there be a moderator check stage for posts before they become publicly visible?
- No, there is no check mechanism before post gets publicly visible.
10. Does the platform allow NSFW content, or are they restricted among all communities?
- (This question will be answered later.)
11. Do users be able to manage the notifications, specifying which type of notifications will they get?
- Yes, users shall be able to manage the notifications. Users shall be able to silence the notifications of a community.
12. Which type of users can invite other users to a community?
- If the community is a public community, then everyone can invite anybody. Else, only community creators and moderators shall be able to invite other users to their community.
13. Should anyone be able to create a community, is there any restriction like number of followers?
- Yes, every user shall be able to create a community. There is no limit to number of followers.
14. Should users be able to post out of the community?
- No, users shall be able to post only in a community.
15. Should profile pages be public/private or any information is independently hideable?
- Users shall be able to customize privacy of any information they have on their profile except the username.
16. Which information/content should be present on the profile page?
- Users shall have name, surname, birthdate, photo and posts which are publicly visible and belongs to the user.
17. Should the user be able to suspend his/her account?
- This will be reviewed on later versions.
18. Which information will be requested during registration?
- Unique username, unique e-mail address and password is requested during registration.
19. Would you like to have a verification process using a phone number?
- This will be reviwed on laters versions.
20. Which post types will be there beyond event and standard post?
- New post types shall be created by community moderators and creators. Every community shall have their own post types.
21. Which sub-search tabs will be there beyond user,community,post etc?
- There will be search mechanism on users,communitys and posts.
22. Which filters will be included in or excluded from search mechanism?
- Users shall be able to filter search results according to different post types which are created in different communities.
23. Which sort parameters will be there in filter mechanism?
- There will be popularity and creation date as sort parameters.
